Process 4 Part Guide

What to Expect from a Professional Shades and Shutters Installation

From the first consultation to final walkthrough, here is how a professional shade, shutter, awning or patio cover installation should go.

By the A to Z Shades and Shutters Install Team

Most people buy window treatments a handful of times in their life, so the installation process is a mystery until it happens. Here is exactly how we run every project, and what you should expect from anyone you hire.

01

Step One: The Consultation and Measurements

Every project starts with a free in-home consultation where we review your goals, show samples and measure every opening precisely. Those measurements drive the written estimate, so nothing is guessed and nothing changes after you approve the price.

02

Ordering and Scheduling

Once you approve the estimate, products are ordered to your exact specifications. Manufacturing lead times vary by product line, and we keep you informed rather than leaving you to wonder. When everything arrives, we schedule installation at a time that works for your household and confirm before we come out.

03

Installation Day

Our own crew, not subcontractors, shows up with everything needed to complete the job. We protect floors and furniture, install, and then test every shade, shutter, awning and motor in front of you. For motorized products we set up remotes, schedules and smart-home integration before we leave, and the work area is cleaned up completely.

Walkthrough and After the Job

Before we call it done, we walk through every room with you, answer questions about operation and care, and register manufacturer warranties. If anything ever needs adjustment, our repair service is a phone call away, and as a licensed contractor, AZ ROC# 342935, we stand behind the work long after installation day.
